Ultra-deep jet grouting stabilization by means of triple fluid Jet Grouting system, to allow the excavation of the derivation gallery from Sarmento river to Monte Cotugno basin. Jet grouting through silty sands and saturated alluviums. Systematic inclinometric measurement of every jet grout bore hole verticality prior to jet grouting phase. Unconfined compressive strength of cored samples of 2 MPa at 28 days. Works performed from ground surface to depths of over 160 m deep. Over 130,000 m3 of Jet Grouting treatment. Column diameter of 4900 mm Completion, by TBM, of the 4.700 m long hydraulic tunnel, charging tank, connecting pipeline and connected works for the derivation from Sarmento river to Monte Cotugno basin
