The site is located on the left bank of the Sacramento River near Sacramento Marina and Miller Regional Park. The project involves the installation of about 460 m of waterproof diaphragm with the Jet Grouting triple-fluid method, with the presence of numerous sensitive subservices to be maintained and protected. The project involves the installation of approximately 100.100 sqft [9.300 m2] of continuous waterproof diaphragm. Monitoring of Jet Grouting parameters using the specific PRS3 real-time data collection and recording system. Inclinometric measurement of the verticality of each hole performed. Realized about 260 columns with a diameter of Ø 8 ft [2,40 m] at depth up to 115 ft [35,00 m], through various soil formations, including peat and organic soils, silt, sand and layers of gravel and pebbles. Often, we had to operate with height limitations, even at night. Execution of an extensive test field before production work along the banks, with visual control of the treatments performed. Samples of treatments by coring for laboratory tests. Treatments with elliptical, symmetrical and asymmetrical section have been tested and realized, with maximum dimensions of the order of 4,80 x 2,40 m.
